The American sculptor Louise Nevelson was in her time as an artist mostly described as the “The Architect of shadows” or “The Queen of special art”, in which is highly used for describing her passion and love for the work of art she created. The special exhibition will present a vast range of Nevelson’s work of art between the 1950’s to 1980’s, which will present most of her sculptures made of tree. This part of the exhibition will specifically give the viewer a closer insight into Nevelson’s passion and work with shadows that have played an important and central part in the famous artist’s monumental work of art. The exhibition will be shown in the Great Hall at Kunsten Museum of Modern Art in Aalborg.
