Lindholm Høje

One of the most monumental national historic parks in Denmark with approx. 700 stone marked graves and a village from the viking period. As well as the modern viking museum there are viking markets and viking plays during the summer.

Aalborg Tivoliland

A popular, classic amusement park with enterainment for all the family. Experience the action on the Boomerang, the gravity tower and rollercoasters or experience the more relaxing attractions with your youngest children.

Fårup Sommerland

The worlds most entertaining day out with almost 500.000 visitors a year. Once the entrance fee is paid all the attractions are free. New in 2004: Denmarks biggest rollercoaster built of wood.

Nordsømuseet

Delve into the secrets of the North Sea in the North Sea Museum, where you can experience Europes biggest aquarium - the 8 metre high Oceanarium. Also take the time to see the Sealarium, exhibitions and much more.

Skagen

Skagen has many interesting sights to see. Skagen Museum with Danish paintings, Råbjerg Mile, Denmarks largest migrating dunes, the Sandy Church and Denmarks most northerly point at "Grenen" (the branch) and Skagen Odde Nature centre are just a few of the many attractions.

Ørnereservatet

Get a fascinating insight into the eagles world. The eagles flying skills are demonstrated and the arrangement includes an informative talk about the habits of birds of prey amongst other things. 

Randers Regnskov

Under three massive domes you can experience the rainforest from three continents. There are over 200 species and most of them live out in the open. There is the chance to walk freely amongst the snakes among other things!

Voergård Slot

Voergaard is among Denmarks most beautiful rennaisance castles with unique art by Goys, Rafael and Rubens to name but a few. During the summer there are "Middle Ages days" brought to life in a festive way.

Læsø

It is easy to take a day trip from Hals to Læsø, which is especially well known for its countryside, sathut and seaweed covered houses. The ferry sails from Frederikshavn.
