Nibe is known for its many parties and festivals. The Nibe Festival ”Den lille Fede” has become very popular and attracts many guests, who enjoy the great entertainment and the intimacy that has become the hallmark of the festival. The traditional sildemarked (herring marked), which is an offshoot of the former herring boom, is also one of the town's trademarks. In addition, there is the Nibe Cattle show, Halkær festival, a cultural weekend in Lundby and a flea market in Nibe every Saturday throughout the summer.
