Every locality in Denmark has unique food and drink specialities: traditional dishes whose recipes are handed down through the generations – though with a little new thinking on preparation.

The Lille Vildmose area is no exception. Our specialities come either from the old, solid Danish kitchen, or are based on the game and fish we gather from our countryside, fjord, and seas.

While we have only a few restaurants in the area, Mou Hotel, Mulbjerg Inn and Kongerslev Inn let you enjoy both old-fashioned and new, exciting cuisine in pleasant, peaceful surroundings. The Lille Vildmose Visitor Centre’s café, Café Sundew, looks out over the bog, and is a great place to sample the food and drink specialities of the area.

Fast food is also available in the area – as it is everywhere.
