Experience Lille Vildmose on bike
The Lille Vildmose area’s varied terrain lets you enjoy many types of active holiday. Several cycling routes cross the area, including regional routes 23 (Limfjord trail) and 3 (Hærvej trail), and national route 5 (East Coast Route). A new cycle path between Egense and Dokkedal will be completed this summer, making it possible to cycle along a long portion of the east coast of Aalborg county.
Put on your hiking shoesThe Mulbjerg hills and Kongerslev Heath, both of which are protected from development, are great places for long walks. Here’s a chance for a look back in history: Stejlgabet was a significant fishing port in the Middle Ages, and the Mulbjerg hills were actually islands in the ancient Litorina Sea. You’ll find many Bronze Age mounds on Kongerslev Heath – excellent heights from which to gaze all the way out to the Kattegat.
