June 7th –October 21st

Exhibition by Michael Singer at the Utzon Center
Innovative exhibition – re-enchantment of nature and the city – with a wide section of drawings, sculptures, garden art and larger art projects in the public space. Price adults 60 kr., seniors 40kr.

Friday July 1st

2.30 p.m. Restaurant Bones serves American dishes at Gammeltorv

3 p.m. – 6 p.m. Stan Urban Rock’n’Roll show at Gammeltorv
Stan Urban signifies old school 50ies rock’n’roll. At the concert at Gammeltorv, you can experience Stan Urban solo – just a man and his piano.

Saturday July 2nd

 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. The Danish American Club’s Garden Party in the garden of the Monastery of the Holy Goast Free of charge. No registration necessary.

10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Photo exhibition by The Danish Emigration Archives at J.F Kennedy’s Square

11. a.m. – 2 p.m. Casting by Danish Models International at Kennedy Arkaden
Danish Models International and a professional fashion photographer will be casting models of all ages at Kennedy Arkaden.

11 a.m – 9 p.m Café Visa at Kennedy Arkaden open their U.S. café at J.F Kennedy Square

11.30 a.m. Restaurant Bones serves American dishes at Gammeltorv

11.30 a.m. – 3 p.m. Live music with Steve White at J.F Kenndy Square
Enjoy Steve White’s versions of The Eagles, Pink Floyd and Eric Clapton.
 
12 noon – 3 p.m. Frank Sinatra show with Thomas Lilleøre and Randers Big Band
Thomas Lilleøre brings his audience back to the 1960’ies Sands Hotel with his authentic Sinatra show accompanied by Randers Big Band.

12 noon – 3 p.m. Rodeo contest at J.F Kennedy Square
We find the Rodeo Champion 2011. Finals at 3 p.m.

1.30 p.m. – 4 p.m. Garden picnic at Top Karens House in Rebild Bakker
Price 175 kr.

6 p.m. – 7.30 p.m. Live music with Ashley Mulford at J.F Kennedy Square
Ashley Mulford has settled in Denmark after a long career in the U.S.

6.30 p.m. - 10.15 p.m. Party at Røverstuen in Rebild
Price 148 kr. including a two course meal, and coffee.

Sunday July 3rd

12.30 p.m. – 3.45 p.m. The Mayor’s lunch at Hotel Hvide Hus
The Danish American Club’s lunch where they name ‘Mayor of the Day’. Doors open at 12.15. Price 280 kr.

1 p.m. – 3 p.m. The Danish Emigration Archives are open in Arkivstræde 1 Watch film and photos about the Danish emigration.

6.15 p.m. The opening of the photo exhibition at J.F Kennedy Square

6.30 p.m. Speeches at J.F Kennedy Square
The head of the Danish Archives Jens Topholm will give the welcoming speech. After this, the U.S ambassador Laurie S. Fulton will give a speech, and finally the mayor of Aalborg, Henning G. Jensen will talk about the naming of J.F Kennedy Square in 1963.

Monday July 4th

8.30 a.m. Memorial at Mindelunden
Speech by Finn Øst Andersson at Almen Kirkegaarden.

9.30 p.m. Initiation ceremony at CHR4 Laug
10 a.m. – 10.40 a.m. Outdoor service at Rebild Bakker
Price 100 kr. including entrance fee for the Rebild Festival.

10.45 a.m. – 4.30 a.m. Little Rebild – for the entire family
The children can look for gold, meet cowboys and Indians and much more. Price 100 kr. including entrance fee for the Rebild Festival.

11.30 a.m. Tent lunch
The Rebild Association’s tent lunch with music, entertainment and song.
Price 275 kr. including entrance fee for the Rebild Festival.

2 p.m. – 6.30 p.m. Rebild Festival in Rebild Bakker

7 p.m. Gala dinner at Aalborg Congress and Culture Center
