Aalborg Zoo 
Visit the polar bear grounds and see the polar bears play both on the ground and under water, or visit the great African Savannah and the African village with tall impressive giraffes. Meet the monkeys, elephants, bears, tigers, lions and all the other animals. And do not forget the large playground or a visit to the friendly goats.

Østre Anlæg
Østre Anlæg is one of Aalborg’s many city parks. It is a large recreational area with a playground and a lake where you and your family can feed the ducks, bring a picnic, play catch or just relax on the grass.

Østerådalen
Østerådalen is a large recreational area on the south side of Aalborg. The valley is part of a nature recovery and rehabilitation project of 100 hectars and has a rich bird life by the shallow lakes and winding stream. Visit the bird tower, go for a walk or a run on the marked routes, or bring your dog to the dog walking area, where you can let him run without a leash.

Aalborg Habour
The Limfjord runs through Aalborg and Nørresundby.
Go fishing in the middle of the city centre. In Aalborg it is permitted to fish from the quayside. Here you can catch garfish, herring, eel, cod, trout and flatfish. Throw your line in and see what the season and luck brings you. You can also jump in the fjord at Aalborg's new harbour pool. Or sit back and enjoy the buzzing life on the water front from the recreational area or one of the many restaurants.

Aalborg Race track
Spend the day on the race tracks, and experience the thrill of watching the horses race by. Book a table at the restaurants, where you have a great view over the tracks, and bring your children to the playground between races. You may even try your luck with a small bet...

Aalborg open air swimming pool
Bring your family to Aalborg open air swimming pool, and spend the day enjoying the sun, the water and the buzzing life. It is the water from the Limfjord that runs into the pool. Outside the open air swimming pool there is a bathing jetty if you wish to swim directly in the Limfjord.
