Caroline Henderson Caroline Henderson has published her 8th solo album No. 8, an album with closeness and a very personal expression which has excited admiration in Denmark as well as abroad, where she has been on tour in both Asia and Europe. Her album Love or Nothing reached the top 20 jazz-list in France and gave her a Danish Music Award for Best vocal jazz CD 2007. In Aalborg she will be accompanied by her regular trio, the bass player Anders Christensen, the pianist Nicolaj Hess and the drummer Mikkel Hess.

Blues brunch: HP Lange and The Delta Connection HP Lange plays root blues with his own special finger-pickin’ technique, and has since the mid eighties delivered about 100 concerts per year, both in Denmark, the rest of Europe and in the US. HP Lange has released several albums and has several times been nominated for Danish Music Awards, of which he has won two. A few years ago he started the band ‘The Delta Connection’ together with the American double bass player Paul Junior and the drummer Mads Andersen. The repertoire is based on root-blues and is a mix of their own songs and interpretations of songs from Mississippi and Louisiana. The latter is especially inspired by names such as R. L. Burnside, Cedric Burnside, Kenny Brown and John Mooney.

Music dramatic Theatre presents an exciting “2-in-1 performance” with The Seven Deadly Sins by Kurt Weill and Trouble in Tahiti by Leonard Bernstein.
The Seven Deadly Sins is a “singing” ballet in seven images based on the seven deadly sins: lust, gluttony, greed, sloth, wrath, envy and pride.
Trouble in Tahiti was composed in 1952 as a comment to the 1950’s in the United States by the world-famous Leonard Bernstein, who among other things is known for the musical West Side Story.
