Jens Bang's House The finest example of renaissance domestic architecture in Northern Europe, built in 1624 by the wealthy merchant Jens Bang.
For over 300 years, the building has been the home of Aalborg's oldest pharmacy, and in all that time the house has never been sold.
Despite the fact that Jens Bang was Aalborg's wealthiest man, he never became a member of the town government which is the reason why he is sitting at the house end sticking out his tongue at the town hall
